Don't miss "Fall"! I bet it's beautiful with the trees in full glory! What a great fishing hole!
Thank God for my wife, the midge nymph and those hapless Iowa Hawkeyes!

Looks spectacular Len. I can imagine big brown trout living there. I dreamt of big brown trout last night. I starting watching The "Trout Bum Diaries" about 2 am this morning and finished just before 4 am. Then I went to bed and saw huge trout all night long. They were haunting my thoughts for sure.

Then I wake up and see that it is snowing and reality hits again. Can't wait to hit the water. I am getting a little cabin fever these days.

I got a chuckle out of that line, for me night is over at 4:30 and day begins

    Default Trout Dreams...

mine usually hit a fevered pitch about the third weekend of February.

I am always loosing them though...never seem to land one in my dreams.

Even though I didn't work last night, being a night shifter, I try not to change my schedule much on the weekends. I usually go to bed between 4 and 5 am. I feel like I should have my own country and make my own time called Rick's time where "yesterday" is before I went to bed and today is after I get up. Being on nights and then trying to live normal hours during the weekend and then switching back will just kill me. I do make exceptions for big trout though.

My lunch hour is at 10 pm and trying to go to bed at 10 pm for me is like you trying to go to bed at 3 in the afternoon probably - it's just really tough.

Back to trout thoughts. Len, I see my frustration building over the next few weeks. The trade shows or TU types of things should help satisfy a little, but those events could just make things worse too. Been tying flies for a couple of days straight and having fun. I know why some people just buy these things - I'm terrible at it.

Len, who is in the last picture? Anyone we know on the boards?
