    buddy...

it's obvious I should see the DVD that comes with the tool... if the thread can be separated, then it does make sense and could be very useful. As for the twister in the French video... I don't know where one can get one. I, long ago, had one that was very similar if not the same but it walked away at a show I was doing along with a few capes. I'd email the guy and ask him if I could write in French

I know what you mean ,Buddy,,,,,I wonder if it has ball bearings?

    Duckster,

What got me was how fast he could spin that thing. Probably either bearings or really good machining.

Now I know there's a tool out there that I want that I can't make myself...AND it seems like I can't buy it either....

    Dang it!!

    Hard to tell.

No descriptions, all are labeled as 'coming soon'.

    Still, it's a cool idea.

I wonder if I can use my wood lathe to put one together that would work?

I think I can get small bearing at Ace.

I'll have to think on this a bit.....

Just what I need, another project....

    Thanks for the link.

    Don,

    Could be.

I looked that their terms, though. They are wholesalers.

    $500 minimum orders.

Maybe we should ALL go in together and get a bunch of stuff from them. Prices look good on most of it....

I noticed about a dozen or so vises in the vise section that Cabela's sells and or used to sell, As their brand...Hummm quite the profit margin in selling those vises alone....and those prices gotta be a gimmick...although I know the majority of the vise's are very low grade..I've owned several of them...and paid wayyyyy more..
    Wish ya great fishing,Bill
