Just thought I would finally register at this wonderful place of fishing knowledgle. I have been checking this out some time now, learning a great deal about fly fishing.

I moved to the Black Hills a few years ago and thanks to a local wildlife photographer, I am now severely hooked on fly fishing. Thanks to a "gap" in employment, I was able to fish almost everyday for three months last fall and now I just can't stop thinking about it. It's a pleasure to hop on board.

Hey a very Warm Welcome to you. You'll find (if you haven't already) a fine bunch here. (Just watch out for the Pirates )

Welcome dmbfanweeee, this is a great place to be. Pull up a chair and sit a spell. (just leave the keg of rum in the corner alone)

I'm confused, Betty says there are no fish in SD but you say you got hooked on fishing up there. Now who am I supposed to believe, a long time member or a newbie?

PS. Why is everyone trying to scare the newbies with thier warnings of the pirates? The Dude hasn't been drunk in like, an hour, Micus hasn't chased any strippers all day, and it's been at least a week since e-dave has, well, e-daved anyone.

Scared? No way. I've been at the Sturgis Rally all week. Pirates are sissy's compared to some of the bikers I've seen around town!

Careful I am one of the pirates and I had more friends at Sturgis than I can count. All they do is fight and drink and chase girls. We throw in fishing also.

    All joking aside.

Welcome on board, get ready to become one of the family. Only requirement, is to be careful around our lady pirates, they keep us in line. but don't tell anyone.

Fighting, drinking, and chasing girls sounds like a dream. No worries...I've been kept in line by a lady for almost six years now.

    Please don't tell my wife.

Why would you move to the Black Hills ? There's no trout there. Just got back from there - nope - no trout .... absolutely ... nice country though.

Betty ... what ya think - think he should move further west or north ?

Welcome along .. I've only been here about a month (I think) - great, helpful, and different-opinionated people here.
