new reel

Just bought this reel on ebay it is a New in box (NIB), The Premium Series, FLP345/P fly reel by Fly Logic. Never had one of these and what are your oppions on them. I know the seller dave at the fly fishing shop on ebay is a very nice guy to do business with and I can easily see why he has over 1000 sells and a 100% good feedback. So what do you think are they a good reel?

Hello harleybob87, I have two Fly Logic reels and I think they're great reels. I don't have the model you have but if it's anything like my FLO's, it's going to serve you well. I got the FLO's because they're a bit heavier than most fly reels that size which balances out tip heavy fly rods (cane, glass) better than many of today's fly reels. Pricey, yes, but again in my opinion, well worth it.

I've wondered, for some time, how their reels were. Thanks MM! Have you tried any of their large arbor reels?

I had a FLO in the midnight blue that I picked up to balance a Mike Brooks bamboo rod wrapped in blue. It was a pretty combination. Then I got an Orvis CFO for a gift and traded the FLO away. I really liked the reel ~~ and it was as attractive as it was functional. I think you will enjoy the reel ~~ I sure enjoyed mine.

Had an FLP890 and sold it only because I did not need 300 yards of backing on my 8 wt. I would recommend the reel and any FloLogic product to folks. I have two of their rods.
