Speaking of Amnesia
Some time ago we used to use a small section of red Amnesia as the butt section of line to leader....don't know why but I quit doing it and haven't seen it done or mentioned.
Anyone do it?
Still seems like a good idea and if fact doesn't the new Rio Nymph line kindof use that idea.
Some of my lines have 8" of amnesia Albright-knotted to the business end with a loop for the leader. Never used it for a whole leader butt, though.
I used to use Amnesia. I forgot why I stopped....
Really, I now use Monic Lite because it floats.
