    Default Lake Ontario Tributaries

Has anyone on the forum fished the Lake Ontario tributaries this past fall? I'm thinking of fishing them next fall, Does anyone have any experience fishing this area?

I live right in the middle of the fishery and fish them as much as business travel and time allows. Our region offers some world class fishing for Chinook and Coho Salmon, Steelhead and Brown Trout and even some Atlantics . I can catch Brown Trout within 30 minutes of my home that will be as large (or larger) than anything you could catch way down in Tiera Del Fuego or other remote locals. A friend landed AND RELEASED a 42.5 inch Steelhead on the fly within 20 minutes of my home in November on the fly. That was a legit 20 pound PLUS Steelhead.

Location and timing all depends on what you want to catch.

Jeeze! How much better can it get? First post; answer in 45 minutes from the head of Mustad and Partridge. And he lives right there! "Love it when a plan comes together".

One would hope that next fall there will be more water flowing through them!

They can be great. And you can certainly happen upon one of those great days. That's all I'm gonna say about that!

Plenty of water in them right now and plenty of fish as well.

and perfect weather to keep the crowds away!

Jeff, we did well over Thanksgiving weekend. Wish I could make it up to see my folks and friends more often, but our continued southerly march isn't helping! LOL
