    Default Diamond Lake Recovery

Even though it won't stop raining, I found something to be positive about! Diamond Lake in S. Oregon has come back from the dead; http://www.katu.com/news/12118281.html Welcome back! Mayflies, Midges & Snails.
Nothing like a good swarm of Midges while your camping by the lake!

Sorry, to be "so behind the times" and bring up an older post, but haven't had any electric for about a week.
GREAT news, in Diamond Lake, though! I've fished there since about age ten, I think it was, for many, many years. Then, life took over and haven't been there for about 20 years now.
I'd heard it had greatly suffered and was never again, "the lake it once was". Glad to hear it's coming back!

I have a ton of memories of Diamond, along with old and yellow pictures of those fun days. Trolling "Triple Teasers", with a chunk of nightcrawler, using corn on a bobber rigged set up.......................... great days, thanks for the link, Doug!
