    Default Would You Buy A T-Shirt To Commemorate The Michigan Fish-In?

    We, the organizers, are contemplating getting (long sleeved) T-shirts to commemorate the 2008 Michigan Fish-In. These would have to be ordered and payed for prior to the fish-in (probably by April/May) and then would be delivered at the Fish-In. We're hoping to keep the price around $20 or under.

    Is this something you would be interested in purchasing? We would like to get an idea of how many people would actually buy one, to see if it's financially feasible. We're currently working up the design (will post that later) and getting price quotes.

    I will give this until after New Year's day, as many are probably traveling this time of year. Of course that doesn't mean wait until then to post your answer! LOL

    Even though, no chance of actually attending the event, Jean, (live too far away, darn it!), I'd buy one just to support the effort!

    Jean;
    Need you ask?!
    It might be another way to show our support for The Anglers of the Au Sable.

    Tough job; long sleeve, short sleeve, with a collar (polo shirt) or without. How many of which sizes? And they will all have to be sold at that event. Is there a minimum order on each of those sizes? Color? Everybody order in advance? Just what does 'Large' mean? What 'size' is XXL really? How many 'over-run' for those wanting one after the event?
    Good luck, I think it's a grand idea, hope you can pull it off.

    I don't want to be an old stick-in-the-mud, and money certainly is not the issue, but I have enough t-shirts to choke a horse. If this is a fundraiser, just let me know and I'll gladly support it financially.

    I really enjoyed the event for 2007, and have memories that will last longer than a t-shirt that will be buried in a drawer. It was great that we were able to donate money to the Anglers, and I would gladly do that again this year. Put me down for a donation but not a shirt.

    P.S. Why do you guys want to generate all this extra work for yourselves. Don't you know you're supposed to be focusing on your recipes for the SPAM cook-off?

    Hmmmm... lessee... T-shirt, Spam cook-off <weighting options>

    I'll take a T-shirt. (Warning, those who don't buy a T-shirt have to eat from the Spam cook-off. That's no Treat (tm).)

    My eloquent friend, TREAT (tm) is a product of Armour, and not Hormel, like our beloved SPAM(tm). You are more than welcome to participate in both the t-shirt purchase and the SPAM(tm) cook-off.

    Just an "I'DEER", but when our club, held a like event that you're planning several years ago, we found out we could get double sided fly boxes, (ripple/flat foam), imprinted with our events logo for almost 1/3 of what hats and/or, T-shirts would have cost us. I'm very sorry, I can't find the name of the printer, but I'd check with someone like "Lazer Quick" if they're in your area.??
    I think it's Madison River Fly shop, that right now has plain, plastic, boxes on for $3.95 each. I doubt you can get long sleeved shirts that cheap!?!
    We also went with the fly boxes, instead of the shirts, for a lot of reasons already mentioned here. Also, "Who doesn't need another fly box"?
