Yes, in my book anything of Gary's is worth having..

He was a true friend, fine gentlemen, and fly fisherman,

    He is missed...

He had a way about him...
met him once or twice at "sportsman's show's" he was entertaining & informative & warm & real...
met him again after he became ill... sad but his spirit was still there.
    Miss him.

    Duckster,

Checked a couple of booksellers. Paperback is running from $43 and up, Hard cover starts at about $60 up to $125 for a signed hardcover. Unless there's another printing, the price will just go up.

    Hi there folks,

I've only seen Gary LaFontaine in several fly fishng videos and thought he was great. There certainly was a presence about the man. An academic who spoke plainly to me through his videos and inspired me through his teaching and personality. His love of fly fishng and tying was plainly visible and demonstrated, it was contagious. As I said I only saw him on videos, never met the man personally but its funny how certain individuals make a lasting impression on you and you will never forget them. He will be sadly missed.

    Cheers

No new ones available from retail outlets at the regular price ...and only available ones are on the secondary market at higher prices.....

looks like they may go into another publishing of the book so i'd say its not a collectible just yet!
