    Default snake guide question

You'd really think I'd know the answer to this, but I don't. In the H&H catalog, guides are listed as (sizes) 10, 4,3,2 ...striper down ... in Goldenwich's catalog they're sized#2/0, #1/0, #1, #2 etc. How does one make comparisons? Are H&H in mm's? If so, how does that measure in #2/0, or #3/0, or #1? Maybe what I'm trying to say is, is the 4 from H&H the same as the #2/0?

    Betty,

Unless I missed something, you're reading too much into this and confusing yourself.

The H&H sizes are stated largest to smallest; the GW sizes are listed smallest to largest.

H&H doesn't seem to carry guides smaller than 1/0 (0 in their catalog page). Perhaps that might be causing some additional confusion.

Oooohhh boy ... It's now very obvious to me that I'm trying to do way too many things at the same time, and the brain isn't keeping up with all of it. Call it a Senior Moment, call it a Brain F**t, I think it's overload!

Thank you. You all are completely right.

Now, I think I'll go back to bed. Will someone please wake me in April?
