Prayer Request

For those of you so inclined, I'd like to ask for a prayer request...

My father-in-law goes in tomorrow for surgery to have a malignancy removed. The surgeon thinks it's all on his gall bladder, but it could be tied into his pancreas and/or liver. My father-in-law is a retired preacher and has a pretty wide network of folks praying for him (and his surgeon), but every little bit helps. His name is Rudy and his surgery is tomorrow (Wednesday) around 10:00 AM.

Thanks everyone - the surgery went for about 4 hours. The cancer appears to be mostly contained in his gall bladder - which they took out, along with about 10% of his liver. All things considered, this was about as good as we could have hoped for. He isn't out of the woods yet, but this is a big step and removes one very big question mark.
