Thread: Salamander info

    Default Salamander info

Has anyone had any experience or have info on the following:

Can salamanders be a significant food source for trout?

So much so that at times they [trout] would be turned off of their regular feeding patterns?

Besides perhaps a woolly bugger do you know any salamander patterns?

well, salamanders often work well for bass so i imagine they would be good for trout in weedy areas. sorry, no flies that i know of though.
