Default This man needs our prayers

I have seen prayer work miracles on this site and this man could sure use ours . Buffalo Bills tight end Kevin Everett suffered a severe spinal injury that could leave him paralyzed during yesterdays game against Denver. This man and his family could use all the prayers we can give them.

Kevin, my thoughts and prayers are on the way for you and your family.

    Rocky,
The players were knelt down on the field praying for him. I am praying for him.

Kevin's agent told the press that he had " sparse movement " and that the doctors say the surgery they performed on him went well. They are keeping him sedated for the next 24 to 48 hours then they should know more.

Kevin, his family and teammates are in my prayers. According to the report on the Monday Night Football halftime show the prognosis for complete recovery is not good. Kevin is still on life support. All of you football and hockey players our there remember to always keep your head up at all times! A very sad situation.

This is a big price to pay for following a passion. No one should ever have to go through something like this and he and his family will be in my prayers.

Kevin Everett Update; The Doctor said today that Kevin will walk out of the Hospital, eventually. He will not fully recover, unfortunetly

From what I read on the NFL web site the doctors think he has a chance at a full recovery. They are very encouraged by his results. He is able to communicate with a typing pad and pen held in his mouth. He can feel touches and is able to voluntarily move his limbs. He has to use the mouth held pen because he is still partially sedated and on a breathing tube. His mom is elated as are the doctors.

Kevin and his family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
