    Just meant, it might have been me. Think I made my first one in about 1980 or so. On the third one now, 5five piece pack model.

    Another cryptic reference is in one of my NZ fly fishing related books. One of the contributors is talking about rods and how some people blame the rod or the equipment for their casting. He then says something like "I've even seen a fellow casting with a broom", but doesn't mention the fellow's name. I'll try and find it again so I can provide a bit more detail (like who the writer was, and the book, and such).
