Up at 7 and make coffee. Retired ya know!
Did my daily crossword, word search and jigsaw to keep the old mind in shape.
Fixed sausage, eggs and hash browns for breakfast.
Confessed to taking Doug's thread South to cleanse my soul.
Posted my very first photo's in the Paddeling Fourm. The brain exercise, a good breakfast and a soul cleansing must have helped in this endevor!
Retrieved my mail and found my approved boat registration from the State of TN.
(Also some beautiful Clouser's from Anglerdave)
Had lunch, nothing fancy just a tuna sandwich with garden tomatos.
    Paid some month end bills.
    Refilled the humming bird feeders.
Went to Lowe's and picked up a sheet of Lexan and the numbers/letters for the registration.
Cut the Lexan to size, applied the proper numbers/ letters & stickers and hung them on the 'toon.
I then went to the Duck River to chase and catch a few Bass & Blue Gills. Not with the 'toon.
On the way home I picked up the fixin's for dinner and it is now in the oven.
Fixed my favorite drink. In fact I think I'll have another!!
In my spare time I made a furled leader out of "Glow in the Dark" thread!
Dinner is all most ready, and after that I'll tie a few fly's then visit the chat room!
    That's what I did today!!
    Jack,
    You had a FULL DAY!!!

Betty, my dear, ask & ye shall receive. Just for you!

Gotta love those flatfish. That's a F7 on the perch's lips. Went back after supper and picked up another 6 crappies and two perch. All were released to fight again (I hate to clean fish). Notice that I even put a cork reel seat on the spinning rod. You don't see that everyday.

    Joe (The Smart),
Since you throw back perfectly good eating fish, while there are millions of people in China starving, I found the PERFECT Car FOR YOU!!!! You don't take a cooler along for the dead fish anyhow, so this here Car is right up your alley!! This Car has just enough room in it for you and a small dog (MAYBE!)
It was demonstrated to me how to fold down the passenger seat for a golf bag, but since your SO SENSITIVE about this being a fly fishing site!, I won't go into details!
The SMART CAR, manufactured by Mercedes Benz.
    55 miles per gallon.
    http://www.oswegoluxury.com/cgi-bin/sho ... ow&id=6106

There is no price, but I heard a estimated $30,000.

The Smart Car is specially designed with a egg shell body and frame for safety.

Joe, this safety construction means that if you get trapped between two Semi's, you won't crack your SHELL!!!

Joe, I forgot to mention ALL the NEW friends your going to make!!! While your driving down the road!!, A LOT of people are going to be WAVING and LAUGHING!!!!! AT YOU!!!!!!!

    Drive Carefully!

Doug P. S. Joe, (the Hard Boiled)

A very fun thread. Thanks, folks!

    Kirk

    PS Hi, Jack!
    Kirk,
I apologize from the bottom of my heart! that this post has gone 'South' It certainly ISN'T MY FAULT!! Because I don't have that good a sense of direction! AND I don't know how to work those stupid GPS Units!!
Now that I've absolved myself of any responsibility! WE shall explore some options for people to BLAME!
The FIRST PERSON I'm thinking of.......his name starts with a JAYYYYYYY!!! and he lives in a skinny little southern state!!!!! I think it starts with a 'T' Someone told me he used to live in Mich. until they 'BOOTED' him out......too many traffic tickets??????? This guy is pretty OLD! also! There is a 'RUMOR' that this guy has been blacklisted from the Jack Daniels Whiskey Plant! Something about being a 'REPEAT' Sampler! I couldn't use any of this information in Court, it's just 'SCUTTLEBUTT'!!!! (BS) (GOSSIP) (GOSPEL) (SECOND HAND)
Kirk I don't know if ANY of this info helps you at all, let's just HOPE the guilty party (JH) comes forward eventually.
    Doug
    Doug! Doug!

I never meant to imply that a post going "South" was a bad thing!!
How could I? I was born, raised, and taught to fish in SOUTH east TEXAS!!
(BTW, Folks from here know that TEXAS should always be typed and spoken in ALL CAPS!!)

Jack Thanks for sending the topic South! I might never have gotten to read it, otherwise!! Your my HERO!!

    Kirk
