Default Pictures from my BC, Canada trip

I just got back from BC Canada, eh. Just wanted to let you see the geograpgy near Whistler. Big beautiful alpine mountains near Nairne Falls Park.

High alpine lake with miky appearance from glacial run-off at Joffre Park.

One of ten alpine rainbows caught and released in a half hour.

    Birkenheld River, north of Whistler.
I had a Guide from Whistler Fly Fishing. Great guy. Learned much about freestone river fishing. Caught six rainbows. Stood in the water, two feet from a three foot chinook without it being spooked. Magnificent!

I will definately be going back in the future.

I would advise you, waders or not, to not hook that 110KV power line on your backcast. Beautiful country, and looks like you had a blast.

WOW - awesome pics - thanks for sharing! Yeah - that glacial run-off is a sure sign of how cold that water is!!!

And I think that's 345kv transmission line in the background...you catch that in your backcast and the free cremation you'll get means you'll have that much more to pass on to your relatives.
Thank God for my wife, the midge nymph and those hapless Iowa Hawkeyes!

HEY!, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PICTURES. HERE I AM EXPECTING TO SEE SOME INCREDIBLE PICTURES OF A FAMILIAR (kind of) PLACE AND THEY AREN'T THERE. [url=http://www.thesmilies.com:5b031][/url:5b031] I WANT TO SEE THOSE PICTURES (just imagine your 6 yr old stomping up the steps screaming that and you'll have an idea of how I feel right now)

Hey I can see the pictures now! Guess my office has some stuff blocked.

Incredible area of the world. Thank you for sharing some beautiful shots. Don't ya just love that turquois color from the silt and glacial runoff!

One smallish fish picture, probably faked to make it look like there were fish in that lake. And a tale of an alleged 3 foot Chinook 3 feet away that there are no photos of.

No my Dear Dshock this does not prove that there are any fish here.

Oh sure once in a while in the high mountain lakes a fish from the last ice age will thaw out as shown in the third picture but that is a one in a kabillion lucky shot.

Next thing we know, you will be claiming to have seen fish in North Dakota.
Really now, you must stop spreading these rumors.

The presence of a fish in the photos leads me to believe that tlooze took a wrong turn at seattle and accidently drove to New Zealand ( Happens all the time )where there actually are some fish.

You will also note that he took the pictures In BC ( Before Christ ) so way back then there may have been some fish up here but not now.

DG I would like to meet the man who's backcast could reach those wires.
For God's sake, Don't Quote me! I'm Probably making this crap up!

Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing.

We're heading back to BC to not catch the non-existent steelhead and salmon in October. Your photos are helping to tide me over. We usually vacation in August.
