New Fall Programs

I always considered myself as a pretty open minded person. I see previews for new shows (when the snow is flying too hard to fish and some I have to raise an eyebrow while others I think, I gotta see that one.
But seriously......on either HBO or SHOWTIME there is a new series called "CALIFORNICATION".
Even I am having a hard time with that one.
Am I becoming a prude?

I guess Showtime or HBO doesn't think the show can make it on its own merit so they resort to cheap tactics to gain a first time showing audience.

For a trial period I had free HBO and Showtime and it didn't impress me at all and I cancelled it early.
That is one BIG problem with Cable TV, You actually have to pay more for mediocre programming, as you graduate to more channels packages.
It's simple! Would I rent that garbage at Blockbuster? NO! So why should I pay Comcast for HBO and Showtime?
Someday I hope we can pay only for the channels we choose.

There is nothing prudish about good morals. I have got to know you and your hubby a bit through these boards. From what I can tell both of you are good souls. You have my respect. Far as I am concerned shows like that only point out the decay that our society has suffered. Being open minded is a good thing so long as it is tempered with good morals. Your very post shows that you have good morals and you follow them. Keep fighting the good fight. I am there with you.

Have't seen the preview's for that yet, but the best show ever on tv was on HBO and was cancelled. So I cancelled HBO.
