dates on posts???

Do I have my system configured wrong or something? I notice when I look at posts and there's no dates on the post to say when they were made.

Rusty,

Check your time zone setting under your User Control Panel (top right of this page), go to Forum Preference and page down until you get the the time zone section.

Mine is set at UTC-7 hours.

I have nothing on the posts though. No time, no date, nada?

Not sure if I'm following, but is this what you mean?
On the posting page, if you hold the curser over the post for just a few seconds, a date and time will appear.

In the upper right hand corner of the dialog box where the text is I have "Posted:" The word posted and then ":" but no time or date.

Strange! When in doubt; dump cookies, clear cache, reboot, sign in. If that doesn't work ... pfffttt! I don't have a clue. Any time I can help!

Ahhhhh I just figured it out. I went into edit global prefrences and under date format it was set on custom. In other words there was no selection made so it wouldn't show anything. I selected one of the choices and now it works.
