I am new to PA and heard about the White Fly hatch on the Yellow Breeches. I can't seem to find a picture or description of the White Fly so that I can tie some up. Can anyone enlighten me?

Pa. Angler,
I've fished the WHITE Fly on the Breeches many times. It's a heavy Ephoron leukon hatch. The pattern Bluenose shows should match up perfectly. Also try an all white emerger w/trailing shuck. Good fishin. See catfish on a flyrod? Warm water forum Posted Aug 6. Fishing this hatch on the Susquehanna.

PA:
While I never fish the hatch on the Breeches becuse of the crowds; I do fish it on the Susquehanna. Since the White Fly spinners often appear with their shucks trailing behind them; we tied up some imitations with an extended body. They worked well for us this year.
Also; be prepared to stay LATE! The best fishing is often when all the scaredy cats go home when it gets REALLY dark!
