Nick,
I am somewhat intrigued by the handle you have selected for this board. Care to elaborate?

Hi Nick: I'd still love to be able to see the Peacock Emerger Tutorial. Why don't we make it the Fly of the Week?
Thanks Nick. Looking forward to your subsequent step by step tutorials, and other contributions. I did view, and enjoyed, what you have put up on the Oak Orchard site.
Cheers,
Hans W

COOL! i thought we lost a member.
i definately enjoy your tutorials!
one of these days when im not doing much, i will sit down and make up a tutorial! it should be fun. not sure on the fly yet. But it will come to me soon.
my tutorial will definately not be as professional and perfect as yours but i'll give it a shot soon enough.
Ginseng: I tried to PM you but I got a message that read: "You cannot use certain BB Codes (URL). I have no idea what that means.
ginseng: It sure does. And I don't even know what a BB is!
Ginseng: I know you won't believe this, but I went to your web at Oak Orchard and tried to register a few days ago. I can't get on without an activation code and I've never received one. It's tough being computer illiterate. Don't worry about the pattern anymore. You've done more than enough. I'll survive without it.

I was lucky this past spring and attended a steelhead seminar with Ginseng one of the instructors. He took us out to the water and showed us how to spey cast. He makes it look so easy and the line sure does get out there. Then he had a slide show with the local spring hatches and the fish he caught on the local streams. If you saw the pictures he posted earlier, you know it was a great presentation. Then he tied an emerald shiner using DNA material. Great fly. You need to post the directions on here for that shiner.
