Thread: A Fly Fisherman is Born!

  1. Default A Fly Fisherman is Born!

Here's a short video of my 6 year old son going after some panfish and bass. Oh yeah, and a rabbit, and a snail I got him a 4wt outfit for Christmas last year and he's starting to get the feel for it, although he still prefers a texas rigged rubber worm for bass. We go to this little pond just about every night, sometimes Mom and his big sister join us, but for the most part it's just me and him

    FlyPimp,

That's what it's all about in the end.

Passing on your passion for the outdoors to your kids will ensure a bright and enjoyable future for them. Teach them about conservation, personal accountability, self respect, and respect for others as well, and you will have done an admirable job as a parent.

Looks like he catches on fast and will be giving you some stiff competition sooner than you think.

    You truly are blessed!

Thanks everyone, I can't express how proud I am of him. He's a great kid

Yeah that's a Mariners hat, but in his defense, he's a diehard Yankees fan. He likes listening to games on the radio. He's got the Mariners hat cause that was the Little League team he was on.
