    Default Stuck bottle cap

I'm just short of using a pair of pliers to unstick a stuck on head cement bottle cap.

Any ideas other than a pair of pliers??? I don't want to break the cap.Its a newer bottle!

Try soaking the whole thing in HOT water (not boiling). It worked once or twice for me.

Afterwards, take a little vaseline and lightly coat the threads of the bottle. Since I did that, my head cement hasn't had to go swimming.

Hold the cap under hot water from the faucet or heat it with a hair dryer and hopefully, by working the cap back and forth, you will get it to come off.

Sometimes a large rubber band wrapped around the lid will give you enough grip to get it off.

I often use a pliers...just use a gentle touch...you don't have to squeeze that hard ...just enough so you can turn the lid....the hot water works ...I just find it's faster with a pliers ..always one handy.

to keep it from sticking again,,, put a little bit of vaseline on the threads of the bottle.
    it will never stick again

I use hot water and pliers also. I like to use dubbing wax for the threads on the bottle instead of vasoline not as messy

What's Head Cement? I whip finish heads and don't worry about it. If I must use something, it is clear nail polish from the Dollar Store.
