    Default Waders and Boots Question

Does anybody have experience with these waders. Are they any good?

Also, I was planning on getting these boots as well and found some positive reviews on the forums already

    Thanks,

    Tim.

I personally have no experience with either product. THe over boots look OK. I'm not sure about the waders -- seem like they are a nylon type material. I think you get what you pay for with waders and there is nothing more aggravating than standing waist deep in the river in the middle of winter - steelhead fishing -- and have a leak. I would be leaning to the gore-tex type products made with several layers of thickness in the lower leg and Knee and seat -- so when you march through the berry bushes you don't puncture them.

See what others have recommended before trying them out.

After doing some more searches on the site I ended up getting the Orvis Endura Waders and the Orvis clear water wading shoes. Both seem to have positive reviews from the anglers online.

    Thanks again,

    Tim.

Be carefull with Chota, I bought a pair for about $90 with my discount, and the heels came off. I called them and they said it's an older model 2004 and I bought them in 2005. I used them one season. They would not stand by their product and wanted to send me new heels & that I would have to pay for them plus shipping.
They said they have a new system to put the heels & soles on the shoe and that should stop the heels from coming off.
    I bought Corkers.

I have that exact model of Chota boots. I have fished them for several years, 3 yrs., and have had no problems with them. I am not familar with their waders though.

If you are hard on boots, LL Bean warranties their aqua stealth boots second to none.
