Welcome aboard <groan>. Most everybody is friendly, but we keep a few codgers 'cause it just wouldn't be right without 'em. (I think I'm on codger duty next week, I'll have to check the schedule...) There are lots of great resources here. It's a real fine place to hang out and relax.

Where do you come from and what kind of fishing do you like?

    Flyguy,
Welcome to the community. You will find this a place of civility, friendship and sharing. I've met some of my best friends here, and still fish with them to this day. Filling out your profile will give you the opportunity to share a little about yourself with us. If you live in Tim-Buck-Two we may never meet. But if you live next door, there's a good chance we'll fish together. Again, welcome to FAOL.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

Welcome aboard! This truly is a FAMILY. Happy to have you.
BTW, Jack & Ed have both achieved "permanent codger" status!

Welcome to the forum. I think i'm the lead codger this week. Maybe this year.

Some call me Gramps. Some call me Grumps. Some call me Pete. Just call me to go fly fishing, and you can call me what you want.

    Flyguy,

A big welcome to the best flyfishing, fly tying, rod building, fly anything web site going! I think you will find most of the members here are just great and love to share flies, thoughts, jokes, prayers and anything else that one might need. You will find that JC and LF run a pretty tight ship and they only ask that you wipe your feet before entering. Oh, by the way, you will need to furnish the donuts, make the coffee and split the wood for the fire for your first 2 weeks unless another new member joins and if that happens, you will be off the hook, so maybe you better invite a friend of yours to join!!

I must warn you that FAOL is addictive!

Feel free to ask questions anytime.

    Welcome
    Warren
Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
