JC, Good timing on your article. I just got back from my 7 days vacation in the Mountains. Thats another story. Here is the reason for the post. As stated before we are taking in foster/procter kids and while I was gone one of the boys kept asking my wife, Do you think Clyde is catching any fish? Do you suppose hes having fun camping? My wife said it was constant all week. He has no Dad, his Mom died and he has been in Foster care most of his life. Never been FFing. Took him out Saturday to Gardenfishs backyard, the upper Calapooia. It was 80 out, bright sun, mostly dinkers, but he got two fish to hand and a ton of strikes. Was showing him the Caddis in the river and the stones under the rocks. Of course with Bamboo This seems like a pretty good kid. There will be more stories later.

Clyde, you made his day for sure. It is so lovely on the upper river. I wish there was more cover for the fish, though. I know your young charge will remember his adventure for the rest of his life. How wonderful what you did.
