Micro Beads/ were can I get'em?

I need a little help locating some micro beads;

- I am presently working with hooks in the sizes of 22, and smaller.

-I would really like to get some orange/amber ones!!!

Try the Canadian Llama company: http://www.canadianllama.com/. Most reliable and affordable source of countersunk metals beads I've found. Kent sells beads down to 1.5mm which should fit a #22.

Smaller than that, I imagine you'll have to use glass seed beads, or a least I've never seen anything in brass or tungsten smaller.

I saw this earlier today when you first posted Chris, I was not sure what you meant by micro beads, so I waited to see what anybody else came up with.
It looks like what you want are petite seed beads.

If so... how many do you need? I'm traveling right now but will be home soon and I'll check if I have some... I won't have a whole lot....pretty sure I got them at Wal-Mart and a craft store.

Ill do brass in gold, copper, black, black nickel, and silver from size 1.5mm up to 3.2mm for $20 per thousand. The painted colors like orange, green, white, yellow, & red sames sizes for $27 per thousand. The only drawback is I have to have orders in 1000 piece lots same size and color unless I have a large enough order from several folks.

Chris - I don't know about WalMart for smaller beads, however craft stores (Michaels, etc.)., or places where there's embroidery stuff usually has them. I found some great rhyacophylia green glass beads at such a place (the name slips my mind - sorry).

Oh yeah ... don't overlook the embroidery thread too for small hooks. Great substitue for dubbing ......
