I had a Heddon rod with an all metal reel seat. None of my Medalists would work. Called my feeshn partner, Photojoe/Bellinger Boy. We wound up having to cut the old seat off. No amount of heat would work. It now has a threaded DL seat with a Black Ash spacer. The color match is outstanding! Sadly my docking station took a header so cant post pics. I realize it took the resale value down, but I dont plan on selling it. My 9 day vacation starts Friday and I can hardly wait too line her up.

He's heading to the N. Santiam (above Detroit). If all goes according to plan, I'll be meeting him up there next weekend with the 7' 4wt I'm making. I'll start dipping on Monday, so HOPEFULLY, it'll be set up enough to take out Saturday.
