Default I'm Looking to spend some time on the water soon...

So first off I want to say Hey guys, and I'm glad to be back, I haven't been on here for at least a year or two... Well I have finally gotten some time on my hands, finally getting away from school, and I finally got a new car!

So I'm looking to get out on the water this weekend hopefully, And since I haven't been out fishing for over a year I'm feeling a little rusty. Because I'm so short on time right now I have to make a run down to the fly shop and I'm looking for some recommendations for some small warm water flies for mainly pan fish.

    Any suggestions would be great.

would it be to early for poppers?

    Pan fish?
Are the steelhead doing anything in Lewis Creek yet?
I never got in on that, cause it was'nt happening when I was there .I heard that Joes pond just had the official ice out the other day. (Dad still lives in Vt. so I get news from him frequently).
Dad ended up with a nice mess of sunfish the other day out in the lake(He dredges for them, go fugure ).
Forget the panfish. Go get the big-uns.

p.s try little wooly buggers , I would go with the lighter colors if the water is clear. Start out with a light brown and work yor way to reds.
Also you might give micro-jigs a shot if your working the shore line.
(why am I telling you this? go get the big-uns ).

Look west toward Burlington, point your new car that way and head to the lake.

I got to spend some time with my father today, we took our old canoe up to the old resivour.

we caught some smallies and a few sunfish, nothing too crazy, but they were a bunch of fun.
