My new vise just arrived today and I was so excited. I ordered mine with the extra MIDGE jaws. Had to share it with you:

Real interesting looking vise. Certainly not traditional. What is the purpose second vise head? And the "jaws" with the bullet shaped hole in it?

There are two different jaws. One for 14 and larger and one for 14 and smaller. The vise comes with the first vise. It is a quick thumb screw all around to turn it into a rotary, to angle the head or turn it all the way around. You can tie high or low. I like the idea of the two head for Stingers and on my Chironomids, I coat them with Hard as Nails. This way I can coat one, then turn the vise and start tying another while it dries.

Totally not a must have thing, but sure is nice.

past tense? Are you not excited anymore?

Kidding aside. That is a very nice looking vice. Curious as to the base. Is it weighted? Can the vise be had with c-clamp?

No weight, just a very heavy duty suction cup and that is the only way it comes. The lever to set it and release it. I have a small piece of Lexan I put it on. Big enough to have a little around the base, plus a little in front in case I drop a hook.
I played with it today and it is so stable and nice. I can put it a little lower so it is not so hard on my back.

Can the vise be had with c-clamp?
A C-clamp for the Vossler vise will become available 'real soon'.

Leave it to Hans to have the inside skinny.
