Default no heres a hatch!!!! (pic's)

while fishing today on one of my favorite steams i went underneath a big bridge. both sides were coverd with spent stone fly ( i think that it what they are? ) shells. didn't catch any trout but caught a ton of shiners using a black nympf, a haystack i believe. beautifull weather and scenery.

Fishing is always great, even if theres no catching... unless you lose a monster fish like i did at my beach last night...then it just sucks. You get any hits from the trout?

Stoneflies unlike the mayfly, live as adults from a few days to about five weeks!
You need a stream watcher to keep on top of this one for you - the fish go nuts when the females come back to lay their eggs.
