When the last tree has died, the last fish caught and the last river poisoned, someone will finally realize they messed up a good thing! Last time I checked they aren't making land and rivers as quick as they used too.

I found the same quote in a museum while on vacation a couple of years ago. I copied it down and posted it in my classroom at school. I make sure all of my students see it and understand it as the year goes on. Positive results only come after education happens.
