Default Panfish - If It Works For Joe

Rick..nice article. Something I've tried too with much the same results. Only I'm not lucky enough to get out of work at lunch to do it....*G*

Can't wait for the warmup (again)....Snow tomorrow again. Ugh.

The temps have dropped here also. Yester day it was a 30 mph wind. today it is only about 25 mph.

The next two weekends are busy and I may not get out.

What is this going to do to the fishing? The water was just warming up nicely and I was starting to catch some fish.

Yeah well HENs, PTNs, and Zug Bugs or Prince Nymphs (covering all the bases of light, medium, and dark colored nymphs) don't work too well for me here. The bream seem to be a bit more picky and prefer the local black Damsel Nymphs so I use black MDNs (that's Marabou Damsel Nymphs) mostly. Maybe one of the standard nymph patterns will pay off for me sometime but they haven't yet (since I've been using them down here).
