Great stories, both of you! Here's another:
In our area we have a monthly fly fishing magazine that has stream reports, some articles, lots of ads, and is perfect reading material for the throne room. I always bring a bunch of these to work to give to the students in my fly fishing club and to the few anglers I know who work there. I also leave one in the women's room that I frequent. A couple of months ago a sign appeared on the women's room door: "This is the WOMEN'S ROOM. It is NOT the MEN'S ROOM which is down the hall. PLEASE use the CORRECT room."
Now.. these rooms are one-seaters so I knew someone was in a bad mood. Eventually, I figured it out.....
One of the other women who work in the building complained to me that men were using the women's room and that it was disgusting. I asked her how she could tell since I'd never seen the seat left up even once 
She said, " Whoever he is, he's leaving some stupid fishing magazine. Like we're too stupid to know that only a guy would do that."
When I finished laughing, I told her that if she threw out my fly fishing mag one more time, I was going to have to charge her for it.
Still cracks me up remembering her face.
