Default Bass are beginning to move

The Bass are beginning to move in central Oklahoma. We had a pleasant morning warm water fly fishing. We caught 4 bass 5-7 lbs and a few nice crappie . Just enough to keep it interesing. Probaly would have been better in the afternoon , but there are these darn scedules. It was great to get out.

    OK,

I am going to have to hire a PI to find where you are going! 5 to 7 pound bass, I got to get one of those....

insane.. i have yet to see a bass more than 4 lbs up here in Chicago.. cold weather must make them grow smaller along with too much fishing pressure

    okflyfisher,

I need you to e-mail me your address, the PI said it would save a lot of time and money if he knew where to start! Or, just e-mail me a map of the pond(s) in question....

We were using crayfish flies. Crayfish are thick in our waters. we have other flies that also work well for bass ,but are generally too big for crappie. The Crappie, Channel Cats, Carp and green sunfish all love the crayfish.

Hey OK, what size and color crwfish are you using? Does it depend on water color? Down here in SW OK water is not very clear, mostly stained to muddy.
