awesome expo

Went too the Northwest Fly Tiers expo today. Hooked up with Montana Moose, which led too meeting other FAOLrs. For those who didnt make it, you missed an awesome expo. It was moved to Albany, and ther was loads of extra room. They had one area set aside for kids to try casting, and another area staffed with volunters teaching kids how to tie flys. There was two other casting ponds set up to try out new rods. Outside they were set up for spey casting. There was one Boo builder there, hopefully next year there will be more. Chet from Bellinger was there, no booth I think he was "testing the water". Next big show is the Boo gathering on the Metolious.

I thought the show was impressive with 70 tyers tying at once. I sure liked seeing the kids casting and tying areas too, that was great.It was good meeting you in Albany Clyde and I was surprised how many FAOLers were there ! Gotta find some more shows before Metolius though. :))
