    Default Metallic Peacock and Partridge (Revised)

    About a month ago I posted a pic of my Metallic peacock and partridge it has had great success locally and I've tied it for a few swaps now...here is the same pattern with a few revisions and omissions.

    Thread: Silk
    Tail: No
    Hackle: partridge (except it is from the darker part of the bird



    It's amazing how the darker feather gives this pattern a completely different look and I'm sure the silk will darken when it gets wet.

    Hook: Orvis 1641 wet hook sz 16
    thread: Pearsalls green silk
    body: quick descent olive dubbing
    throax: peacock herl
    tail: olive saddle barbules (no tail on 1st pic)
