    Default Fly Fishing Chest Vest

Cabelas has a fly fishing chest vest on sale for $30
    Sounds like a good deal.
Any opinions on this vest before I buy?

For thirty bucks you can't go wrong unless it doesn't fit. Have fun. You deserve one!

Bunzo, i've been looking at the same vest. Anybody know how much room in the pockets there is for fly boxes?

Here I was thinking I was the only fly fisher who couldn't remember all the "stuff" he put in his vest, much less where it was located. I miss my bank fishing tackle box. Open the top and you could see everything at a glance. Why did we complicate it?

I've got the same vest on the "For Sale" board; vest is like new. $17 plus shipping.

If that is the one I have, it has LOTS of places on it where the line can hang up. I am constantly untangling my line from that thing.

I kind of liked the old one, although it had the same problem. But it also had water bottle holders and was a bit larger in the back.

But again, for $30, give it a try.

This is the next thing I will be buying:

I don't own one right now but know several people that do and they love them. I have yet to hear anything negative about this box and Hille's used to be a sponsor here. The Downs Box is completely expandable and they have just about any accessory you will need.
