Fly Fishing/Prostrate Cancer Retreat. Who and Where?

Ladyfishers segment got me to thinking about an article that I read a few years ago about a fly fishing retreat offered to men with prostrate cancer.It basically offered a weekend retreat to these folks and gave them an opportunity to get cancer off of their mind and enjoy something that was fun.

I thought it was a great idea and something I would be interested in volunteering for. However, I don't remember who started it or how to contact the original group.

Anyone know of this group or how to contact them. There is probably a web site.

There is "Reeling for Healing" and "Casting for Recovery". I have volunteered for the "Reeling for Healing" program and have been advised that the Midwest newsletter will be out soon.
I'm going to do a "Casting for Recovery" search to see what they offer.

i just did a google search and if you go there and just type in reel recovery you will find their site.

it states they deal with all types of life threatening cancer for men.

I have had the opportunity to be a "fishing buddy" at several Reel Recovery Retreats. You can contact them at their website - reelrecovery.org. Really a great program.
