    Default Winged wet fly swap.....complete

Well I have been thinking about starting to tie classic winged wet flys myself and figured it would be a good swap to host as well. What I am thinking is winged wets for trout. I'm personally looking to tie classic patterns but lets open this to all winged wets.

The usual swap rules apply. Box, return postage and envelope, toe tags.

Lets limit this one to a dozen tyers including myself. Sign up by Feb 14th. Flys due to me by March 30th.

Lets have some fun with this one and hopefully see some classics.

I'm in. I'll have to get back with you on what I'll tie.

Okay, after a chance to do some review I'm in for a Light Cahill.

THanks for joining up, your both in. I'm still trying to pin down my pattern. I have a bit of trouble with the feather slip wings, and am just starting to get the hang of it. Figure a swap like this will be great practice.

Sign me up. I'll tie a Cowdung. Let me know if there is a preferred hook size for this swap.

    Thanks for joining up everyone.

As to hook size, I was thinking size 8-14 range should be a decent size for these flys. However whatever you want to tie is fine by me.

Well, if the wing has to be a "married" wing then forget it! I haven't done that in a long time. 'Nor a quill wing but am willing to give that a shot.

I just purchased Davey Wotton's "Wet Fly Ways" because I want to get back into wet fly fishing and tying.

So count me in if the fly doesn't have to be something too, too fancy!

Nothing fancy is fine. Whatever you decide to tie will be fine.

I'm new to the whole quill wing bit, and have a bit of issues with them looking perfect myself. I want to practice and get better at them with this swap and eventually get the mounting of them down before moving to married wings. I'd eventually like to try some classic Atlantic Salmon flies but am nowhere near that level yet.

I should also add my shipping address is now posted, Thought I had it posted already as I usually do for most swaps I host.
