    Looks like a bit o' a feardie tae me.
    It's hidin' its tail atween its legs.
    Whit's wrang wi' you folk in Fa'kirk, ye've no finished tyin' it yet.
    Apart from that it looks likely.

    I've done more than my share of still water troutin in western ND...where Custer didn't die...but he should've!
    I think I could tied a close prox...but how bout your recipe?

    I almost understood what you said the first time I read it. I must be getting better.

    Though I don't fish still water much, that looks like it would work in some eddys I know of. Sure would like the recipe for that fly.

    Hook size 10
    Tail yellow flo marbou, Pearl flash
    Rib fine gold wire
    Body fine gold fritz
    Hackle olive or yellow grizzle saddle
    Eyes dumbbell


    Legs Donald? You should know there is a few legless at the weekend in Falkirk.

    Here is a few Boobies for the still water lakes, these work well for the rainbows. Am a noviceat this fly tying but these ones are a well worth a shout because they produce results.



    Hook 10
    Thread Orange
    Body orange fritz
    Neck Silver tinsel
    Eyes Orange




    Straggle fritz booby

    Size 10 Hook
    Zonker strip white tail
    Olive straggle fritz body
    Booby cord head
    Metalic eyes


    jc pattern (tight lines)

    Maybe it's my old eyes, but I could have sworn the bodies were made of fritz. Just what the heck is fritz?
