18f here at 740pm pst, snow from yesterday and the day before still present.
Spring is just around the corner and the days are getting longer !

Usually here in Indiana the lakes are frozen and a ft of snow,but this year we're up to our waist trout fishing in the ponds. Trout bass and bluegills caught on New Years day BILL

Close on 70F here. I'm sittin here with the back door open and the dogs runnin in and out.
It's supposed to get COLD here the first part of the week. It's gonna be in the 30's all day Tuesday! I'm gonna freeze my tail off!

It was -20 on the thermometer at the house this am. It's up to -17 now. Waiting on a Chinook.
HA! we only had -8 this A.M.
But i'm rooting for the chinook also or the usual January thaw before the really cold weather hits.
We all know the area code for heaven is 406
lower 40's here.
the trout in penns creek were cooperative,
and the trout in the smaller tribs graced my fly.....and on top, too!
