Default Leeson's Introduction to Fly Tying

Just recieved my copy of Leeson and Schollmeyer's Benchside Introduction. Anyone else have this book. If so, does your first page have signatures above the authors typed names. I may have somehow gotten a signed copy, which is great, but am also not sure if all copies have these signatures and it only looks signed. Either way, I do want to comment on the books layout: Amazing. I love the double sections.

I've heard nothing but great things about that book.
I wish I could justify buying it.

My copy is unsigned. I'd be glad to trade if the "scribbling" bothers you......

I think it is one of the best books on tying I own. Well worth the price.

Thanks MNFisher. I think I will be ok with the signed copy. I just ordered it from a book store on the web and that's how it came...what are the odds?! Again though, this book is amazing. I haven't even had a chance to sit down at my bench, but just in leafing through the pages I realized a number of things I was doing wrong or could be doing easier.

I just got this book a few months back. It's the only fly-tying book I currently own, but so far I've learned a bunch from it. Not sure about the sigs, but I'm pretty sure mine doesn't have them. I'll look this evening.

Got mine last Memorial Day as a Birthday Present, we picked it up at Gates on the AuSable and my copy is signed.

Got mine for Christmas through Amazon. Was very surprised to find it autographed by the co-authors. I agree with the others; the split format is a stroke of genious and very effective.

Mine's signed, too.. purchased through Amazon. It is a great book... though because of its purchase I've realized several times I simply didn't have one type or another of a material. What a terrible thing to have to spend 3 straight Saturdays at the fly shop purchasing materials Now that I think about it.. I probably need more stuff

Yeah I know what you mean hazmat. It's an endless stream of purchases. I just put a big order into Hook and Hackle. It was supposed to be a small order...but they have 20% most items until the end of January.
