    Default Fly Tying Classes

    Through the help of many folks on FAOL my beginners fly tying classes will be starting soon. My goal was to conduct classe for youth and teens. But I have had interest from many others so I will be conducting 2 different classes. One for the kids and one for everyone else.

    I want to thank everyone that has helped make these classes a reality by furnishing the tools that are needed. I am still in the process of getting more tools together but we do have a great start.

    A Special thanks to Jack Hise, Trout Hunter77, JC and LF.

    My first class will begin on Jan 29. Since I have had so much help I will be able to conduct these classes at no cost to the students.

    Thanks to all of you. John
    I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

    John -

    A list of what you still need (and where to send it)would be helpful. I'm sure we could fill it in no time......

    John;
    I'm having some copies of the hand out my instructor gave out. It includes a short history of flyfishing/tying. The tools and how they are used. The series of fly's to be tied, the materials needed and the receipe. If you are interested I'll send you one. (Gottcha!! can't say no on a public forum!!).
    I'm glad to see you had such a fine response and I'm glad I could help.
    Wish I could get something going up here!

    An update on my classes. Thru purchases and donations from fellow FAOL members I now have enough sets of vises and tools to teach 9 students at one time. I want to thank you all so very much. John
