Well I just got my flies done this weekend for the other swap I'm in and thought it would be fun to do another. Since there aren't any new swaps I guess I'll give hosting my own a shot.

How's this for a swap: A Monster Trout Fly Swap. I'm talking about those big nasty flies you break out every once in a while when you feel like targeting monster trout (a.k.a Hog Hunting). The kind of fly you use for those trout that want some meat in their diet.

Rules are pretty loose on this one. The big nasty's can be streamers, nymphs, dries - doesn't matter. Lets just say it must be size 4 hooks or bigger. Some examples: Sculpins, baitfish, mice, giant stones, hexegenia limbata's, etc...

These big flies can be tedious to tie sometimes so lets limit it to 8 people including myself, with a due date of January 30th.

Typical swap rules apply: Toe Tags, Return Postage, Crush proof boxes, etc...

I'll jump in as long as yall don't mind a newbie. I'm thinking a Brook Trout Clouser would be good.

I am changing my clouser pattern to a Rainbow Trout Clouser. I think that this will be a more productive pattern, I know it will be here in East Tennessee.
