Last night I watched a TV program called MADE IN AMERICA, hosted by John Rastenberger.This episode showed how SAGE
fly rods were made, start to finish. This segment was approximately 15 minutes long, and was very informative and interesting.
They started with graphite material and took you through eash assembly process, right down to taking a rod out to the water. Great program.

I was lucky enough to go on a tour of their factory years ago. It was quite interesting how much work was done by hand rather than by machines. Their store room of finished rods was a flyfishers dream.
