    Default Hello

I just wanted to say hello to everyone on this site. I retired a year ago and have been trying, and mostly suceeding, to fish a least twice a week. I read throught a number of the forums and found them to be interesting and informative. Is there anyone else on this forum from VA?

Welcome Larry, Im from MA. If you flip the M and throw half of it away its almost the same as VA, so we must be neighbors. Welcome!

    Hello Larry,

I grew up an hour south of you in Danville, but I have been in Pennslyvania for the last 26 or so years. Over the last few years I have been to Virginia fishing the Maury, the Jackson, Mossey, Smith and some others that I don't recall the names. I venture to guess you have fished the James for smallies and farm bonds for bass and gills. You ever get up into the mountains for trout?

    Hi,

I?m a newer member too but have been coming to the site for a bout a year. A good bunch of guys here but if you are not careful they might lead you astray and have you fishing 3 or 4 times a week. Welcome and a very happy retirement to you.
