January Fishing around Denver?

Hey all,

I will be attending the ISE show in Denver this coming January. Just wondering any details on fishing close to Denver...besides it being COLD!

Dear Brian,

The closest place is probably the South Platte near Deckers. It fishes pretty well in the winter so long as the weather isn't too brutal. Another place to consider is the Blue River near Dillon.

January weather in Colorado can be strange. It can be 10 below one day and 60 the next so you may very well get a chance to do some fishing when you are out there.
