    you ain't just whistling dixie!

I love X-mas(almost to a point of embarrassment)but trying to get everything done before I have to take off at the end of exams is really trying.

    Betty,
The older I get, it really DOES come faster than I'm ready for.
    My explanation is that
At 5 years of age, a year is 20% of time as that child has lived it...hence, a year is a LONG time.
At 50 years of age, a year is just 2% of time as we have lived it...a year is seemingly MUCH shorter. I turn 60 in a couple weeks, so my year is now under 2%.

Just interesting to me, as it explains why time flies faster as we age.

Betty: My son-in-law was born on December 25th. He has a chalk board in his house that has painted on the top "Days till Mikes birthday" upon which he changes the days each morning. Christmas is 2nd place to him. My favorite time on Christmas is not the morning but Christmas eve. I have a lot to be thankful for and know it is because of someone who's birthday we are celebrating (and I don't mean Mikes). It will be over before we know it...
    Merry Christmas Betty, Jonezee

Shopping is done, gifts are wrapped ... didn't know how we'd be celebrating this year. But the celebrating has already begun!! Carys' biopsy came back today benign!! Now we can breath again, and enjoy the next few weeks!
Merry Christmas to my whole FAOL family.
