Looking for a clear tip fly line that casts smoothly and doesn't coil too badly in colder weather. Anyone have experience with the SA Wet Tip Clear, the Cortland 444SL Ghost Tip, or any other make? Appreciate any advice.

Welcome to the best fly fishing site on the planet PeterL and great opening post too. I have a 555 Ghost in a WFF and it's more like string trimer line than it is like fly line so I'd have to compare the 444GT to the 555GT as regards memory and stiffness before I'd buy that one. Hope that saves you some money.
