    Default medalist reel

I have some older Medalist reels with paint loss. Is there any way too strip the old paint off and repaint them?

Hey Clyde, certainly no expert on the reel finish but I had one that I wanted to restore, tried everything to get the old finish off and ended up having it glass bead blasted using the finest stuff that they had. Did a nice job but it made the stamped letters just a litte dull. There is a guy on the west coast that does the old Pfluegers, I will try to find his name.
